Community Guidelines
Last updated: 21 October 2026
Knotvia's promise is simple: a clean, family-safe community. These Guidelines explain what is welcome here and what is not. They apply to posts, comments, Loops, stories, chats, Circles and Baithaks.
Be welcome here
- Be kind and respectful — disagree with ideas, not people.
- Share original content: your photos, your words, your voice.
- Credit creators when you share their work, and only share what you have the right to share.
- Keep Circles on-topic and follow each Circle's own rules.
- Help keep Knotvia clean: report content that breaks these rules instead of engaging with it.
Not allowed on Knotvia
- Harassment and bullying: targeted abuse, threats, humiliation or repeated unwanted contact.
- Hate speech: attacks based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, disability or other protected characteristics.
- Sexual content: pornography, sexual content involving minors (zero tolerance — such content is removed and reported to authorities), and unwanted sexual advances.
- Violence: graphic violence, praise of violent wrongdoing, or content that encourages self-harm.
- Scams and spam: fraud, fake giveaways, phishing, misleading financial schemes and repetitive promotional spam.
- Impersonation and fake accounts: pretending to be another person, brand or public figure.
- Privacy violations: posting someone else's phone number, address, documents or private messages without consent.
- Illegal activity: content that promotes or facilitates wrongdoing under applicable law.
How enforcement works
Content can be reported by any member and is reviewed by our admin team. Some content is automatically held for review before it appears. Depending on severity we may remove content, issue a warning, restrict features, or ban the account. You can appeal a ban from the Contact & Support page by choosing the "Ban appeal" topic.
Stay safe
Never share passwords, codes or payment details with anyone — Knotvia staff will never ask for them. Read our Safety page for more tips.
